The Nether Bastion is a small LEGO Minecraft set that offers this build-and-play version of the popular video game. This Minecraft toy features some of the series' best-known characters, fun locations, and endless possibilities for imaginative play. Kids join Minecraft hero Alex on a mission into the forest to clear ancient debris from a section of the Nether Bastion bridge. When the debris is cleared, lava elements fall and Minecraft creatures – a wither skeleton wielding a stone sword and a blaze with a spinning rod – block Alex's escape. Kids use an iconic diamond sword to fight the creatures before escaping, and another Minecraft figure, a Strider, which has articulated legs and a saddle. Minecraft players know they have to retrieve warped fungi to be able to control the Strider. To add even more fun, the LEGO Builder app allows kids to zoom in and visualize and rotate models in 3D using their devices. This set combines easily with other LEGO Minecraft sets (sold separately) for virtually endless possibilities. An excellent gift for Minecraft fans.
